Introduction

Our privacy policy will help you understand what information we collect at Dialoga, how Dialoga uses it, and what choices you have.

When we talk about “DIALOGA” in this policy, we are referring to Dialoga Group, LLC, the company which provides the Services. When we talk about the “Services” in this policy, we are referring to DIALOGA´s CTI integration application to the Zoho Suite of online business productivity and collaboration software.

Information we collect and receive

Content and information submitted by users to the Services is referred to in this policy as “Customer Data.” DIALOGA collects data to operate effectively and provide the best experiences with our Services. Where DIALOGA collects or processes Customer Data, it does so, on behalf of the Customer. DIALOGA also obtain data from third parties. Here are some examples of Customer Data (but keep in mind they are only examples and there may be others):

  • Account creation information. Data about the email address and password to create an account.
  • Incoming and outgoing calls telephone numbers. Data about the telephone numbers used for the calls.
  • Contact list. Data about the telephone numbers corresponding to incoming and outgoing calls and the description of those calls, creating a contact list.
  • Call History. Information about the incoming and outgoing calls (call time, origin number, destination number, call duration, whether it is an incoming or an outgoing call etc).
Legal bases for collecting and using information

Legal processing bases applicable to DIALOGA: Our legal basis for information collection and use depends on the personal information concerned and the context in which we collect it. Most of our information collection and processing activities are typically based on (i) contractual necessity, (ii) one or more legitimate interests of DIALOGA or a third party that are not overridden by your data protection interests, or (iii) your consent. Sometimes, we may be legally required to collect your information, or may need your personal information to protect your vital interests or those of another person.

Withdrawal of consent: Where we rely on your consent as the legal basis, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, but this will not affect any processing that has already taken place.

Legitimate interests notice: Where we rely on legitimate interests as the legal basis and those legitimate interests are not specified above, we will clearly explain to you what those legitimate interests are at the time that we collect your information.

How we use your information

We use the Customer Data to provide and improve the Services. DIALOGA uses the data we collect to provide you the Services we offer, which includes using data to improve and personalize your experience.

DIALOGA may access and use Customer Data as reasonably necessary and in accordance with Customer’s instructions to (a) provide, maintain and improve the Services; (b) to prevent or address service, security, technical issues or at a Customer’s request in connection with customer support matters; (c) as required by law and (d) as set forth in our agreement with the Customer or as expressly permitted in writing by the Customer.

Concretely, the purpose of the collection of Customer Data is:

  • Account creation information: Email address and password are used to authenticate users.
  • Incoming and outgoing telephone numbers: This data is used for calls routing and progression and it is stored in our servers.
  • Contact list: This data is stored in user’s devices and in our servers in order to synchronize several devices through secure connections.
  • Call History: This data is stored in the user´s devices and in our servers in order to synchronize several devices through secure connections and show the users the call history.

We use other kinds of information in providing the Services. Specifically:

  • To understand and improve our Services. We carry out research and analyze trends to better understand how users are using the Services and improve them.
  • To communicate with you by:
    • Responding to your requests. If you contact us with a problem or question, we will use your information to respond.
    • Sending emails. We may send you administrative emails and messages. We may also contact you to inform you about changes in our Services, our Service offerings, and important Service related notices, such as security and fraud notices.
  • Billing and account management. We use account data to administer accounts and keep track of billing and payments.
  • Communicating with you and marketing. We often need to contact you for invoicing, account management and similar reasons. We may also use your contact information for our own marketing or advertising purposes.
  • Investigating and preventing bad stuff from happening. We work hard to keep the Services secure and to prevent abuse and fraud.

This policy is not intended to place any limits on what we do with data that is aggregated and/or de-identified so it is no longer associated with an identifiable user or Customer of the Services.

How to access & control your Personal Data

Customer provides us with instructions on what to do with Customer Data. You can view, edit, or delete your personal data online. You can also make choices about DIALOGA’s collection and use of your data. For example, Customer may provision or deprovisions access to the Services, see and control activity data, access, edit or remove account information, etc.

Sharing and disclosure

Dialoga may share or disclose Customer Data and other information as follows:

  • To comply with laws. To comply with legal or regulatory requirements.
  • To enforce our rights, prevent fraud and for safety. To protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of us or third parties, including enforcing contracts or policies, or in connection with investigating and preventing fraud.

We may disclose or use aggregate or de-identified information for any purpose.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may modify the Privacy Policy at any time, upon notifying you through a service announcement or by sending an email to your primary email address. If we make significant changes to the Privacy Policy that affect your rights, you will be provided with at least 30 days’ advance notice of the changes by email to your primary email address. If you think that the updated Privacy Policy affects your rights with respect to your use of our products or services, you may terminate your use by sending us an email within 30 days. Your continued use after the effective date of changes to the Privacy Policy will be deemed to be your agreement to the modified Privacy Policy. You will not receive email notification of minor changes to the Privacy Policy.
